.: Sun Sun Sun! :.

I love the sun. I love the weather that we've been having! Sitting by the lake, taking hilarious 'nakers with norton' pictures, reading, smoothies, soaking up the sun, listening to random playlists with friends...if only the shadow of exams wasn't looming over us! Lucky for me I had my 3rd (of 4) exam yesterday, and my last one isn't until next Friday! So I'm stress free for a little bit :)

Tuesday was a day of fun thanks to Trevor! He took us on his mysterious devious de-stressing bonanza! A beautiful day, a beautiful walk, a beautiful time by the lake with a guitar, popsicles and good company! We will pay it forward next year for sure!! We had some S & R adventures, then the ladies went to the lake to study and tan for the rest of the afternoon! Many pictures were taken, and many fun times were had!

Life is good, the sun is shining, and I only have one more exam! Then FOUR MONTHS of summerrrr! I can't wait!!

.: Momentum :.

"All we need is a little bit of momentum.
Break down these walls that we've built around ourselves"
-- "Momentum" by The Hush Sound --

What a great song! And what an amazing weekend! I did my first official duties as Sports Camp supervisor and did townwide interviews on Thursday and Friday! It was fun to see everyone!

On Thursday night I saw Ice Age 2 with Yinny and Graeme and it was funny! Friday was a day of studying (blech..), but I had a nice lunch with my dad!

Saturday was hilarious fun! Hung out with Shawn and played some quality laserquest, played with trolls at mcdonalds and went for a nice walk to Walmart! Cow and Bumble B rock my world. I can't wait until they invade wonderland! Then I unionville mainstreeted it with Josh and we sat in the park until scary gangters came!

On the topic of momentum, I would very much like some things to start moving along! My studying, school, love...I just want school to be over! And I want the sun!

Ugh, I believe that I'm starting to get sick...good luck on exams everyone!

.: Why :.

Why...do people have to die?
Why...do relationships end when they seemed like they were so strong?
Why...does gloomy weather affect me so much?
Why...do I seem to be getting worse and worse at writing essays?
Why...do people disappoint you?
Why...does it seem like there is no love in the world at times?
Why...do people only think about themselves?
Why...are things so complicated?
Why...can't I not be jealous?
Why...am I frustrated?
Why...do bad things happen to good people?
Why...do I get so upset when bad things happen to good people around me?
Why...do I ask so many questions?
Why...can't I get out?

.: Kick it up a notch BAM :.

2 more months of first year university. It's a little scary. The end of school also means final exams and final marks...which is starting to scare me. But I think I can do it, I hope I can do it, and I know that I have support (which I'm very thankful for).

But no matter what, I'll keep smiling, because that's what I always do :) and I can't wait until March 11...con-ed formal! There's something to smile about!

Add on:

You know what? Life is beautiful. I think I just need to stop and breathe. I have so much to be thankful for. I can do it. So can you.

.: blug :.

I feel so unproductive. Reading week was over, and I didn't get nearly as much work done as I should have. It was a good week though! I recorded a new song, went shopping on Orfus road with my lovely con-eddie sisterhood of tweded boots and wooden hoodies, went skating, had some mother-daughter time, applied for summer jobs and had my interview for camp supervisor. But the one thing I wanted to do never ended up happening ...Ohhhh well.

I slept over at Claire's friday night and we left for Queens Sat morning. At first I didn't want to go a day early, but I really enjoyed just relaxing and having the room to myself last night. We went swimming and sauna-ing at her parents' hotel yesterday, that was fun! And dinner last night at the Grizzly Grill with our funny waiter was hilarious! *Click Click*! Claire's mom gave me the title of "Miss Congeniality" for being so easy going haha.

I'm not sure if it's because I might be getting sick, or maybe just the weather, but things don't feel right...I can't really explain it, but I don't feel 100% Sam :( I hope I do soon. I can't wait for this week of massive work to be oooverrrr!

.: l o v e :.

Happy Valentines Day! A lot of people hate this holiday...they say it's just a reminder of their being single. I say who cares! I've never had a valentine for Valentines day (until this year :) ) and I've always loved it!

Sure there's the argument that you should show your affection every day, so Valentines day wouldn't be anything special. But I think that Valentines is a reminder to spread the love! V-day makes me happy because I get to make cards and give chocolates and do little things like write really cheesy poems to bring smiles to other people's faces. Sure it's an excuse to dress up in pink and pig out on candy, but it's also a time to share happiness and love with those you care about. And, who doesn't feel special when they receive a card or a rose or even a friendly smile? I know I do, and I want everyone else to feel that too :)

But anyhoo, have a beautiful day! Remember that people care about you, that's what today is all about! And do the "Toe-knee Chest-nut" song/dance! It's fun!

And to my valentine: Have a splendificously great day!
